Ian has devoted more time to personal and professional growth and development than most people decades his senior. His highly-valued perspective is often thoughtful and unique. We expect you will appreciate his quick wit, his refreshing perspective, and wisdom beyond-his-years. 

Today, Ian is an Application Specialist focused on Dragon Naturally Speaking® voice recognition software. As digital records are now a legal requirement, voice data entry is becoming a significant need and foundational skill for medical professionals at all levels. In 2015 Ian joined Mindware Connections, a Dragon value-added reseller in Rochester, NY.

Prior to 2015, Ian was a Store Manager with Sherwin-Williams, where he developed a team of dependable young professionals through example-based coaching and demonstrative leadership.  Ian’s early management experience was gained as a Senior Game Advisor and then Assistant Store Manager at GameStop. During this step of his leadership development, Ian enjoyed working closely with teams to improve service and sales by using sincere and open communication, never taking his eye off customer relations.

Before earning his degree in psychology from St. John Fisher College, Ian achieved the coveted Eagle Scout distinction within 4 years of joining scouts.  Ian continues to take on leadership challenges and has held several management positions since joining the work force during his undergraduate years.

Ian has an intense, compassionate approach that engenders trust.  He is enthusiastic about furthering his leadership impact, devoting time and energy to developing others in both youth and adult arenas.
