This three (3) part program explains the powerful and easy to understand DISC behavioral assessment, using your own results to unleash your full potential and dramatically enhance your individual effectiveness, relationship building and communication.
Session 1: DISC behavioral style basics, assessment debrief and exploration of the benefits of understanding one’s own style
Session 2: Recognizing DISC styles in others and how to adapt communication for improved results
Session 3: DISC Reality Check: Validate internalization of DISC basics, debrief and sharing of recent experiences, explore questions and other situations where DISC may be applied (teambuilding, leadership, sales, customer service, etc.)
DISC is an objective and highly accurate measure of a person’s behavioral tendencies when confronted by four (4) outside influences in their environment:
Dominance - How a person responds to problems and challenges.
Influence - How a person influences others to his or her point of view.
Steadiness - How a person responds to the pace of the environment.

Thirty-hours over 2 half-days and 2 full days, a highly experiential and interactive immersion program, includes creation of a 60-day EI development plan, 2 post-program individual coaching calls, a 4-hour ‘Reality Check’ progress validation & group coaching session, plus 2 individual coaching sessions. Includes meals and program materials.

Engagement is a critical component of personal effectiveness and workplace productivity. In this session you will learn about little-known, unconscious filters that impact whether others will ‘hear,’ or act on, your messages. You’ll learn how to readily identify the preferences of others, then modify your message so they will understand and take action. You’ll become familiar with the most common filters related to motivation and task accomplishment. For each filter, you will learn a specific process for ‘cold-reading’ someone’s preferences and modifying your communication to increase engagement. This session will focus on skills for coaching, mentoring, and supervision.
GFC-016 Engagement, Productivity & Retention

GFC-017 Navigating Change
Proactive & Engaging Change Management explores the different types of change, builds understanding for the typical reactions associated with change and ‘transitions,’ introduces a proven change model, and provides a thoughtful tool for comprehensive change planning. This session brings to life the fundamentals of Bridges’ ‘Transitions’ theory and Kotter’s Heart of Change, mixed with Daniel Pink’s research on motivation.

Understanding the dynamics involved, and how to create a more positive outcome for everyone involved in today's day and age, is as important as being able to use e-mail. Our ability to find a greater ‘Yes’ amongst humanity is essential for us to grow, compete, and thrive. This course teaches the art of strategic communication, conflict resolution and how to effectively work in a high stress, fast paced environment where significant change, negotiation and powerful dynamics are present.
